Dumping the Dead

The bodies of 47 migrants have been found in the back of a truck Tanzania.

The BBC report that the 47, out of 120 packed into one vehicle, headed to Malawi, suffocated in transit.

Tanzanian and Malawi have become key staging posts for people fleeing drought and conflict in Somalia and Ethiopia, and trying to reach South Africa.

This tragic incidence comes just days after almost 50 migrants drowned when attempting to cross Lake Malawi.
